Indo Defence 2026 Expo & Forum is set to align with the evolving priorities of the global defence industry, focusing on integrated, interoperable, and future-ready capabilities across land, air, maritime, and cyber domains. As defence development increasingly hinges on digital integration, counter-drone systems, and underwater and subsea technologies, Indo Defence is positioning itself as a pivotal platform for showcasing and advancing these critical areas.
In January 2026, Indo Defence participated in a defence, technology, and maritime exhibition in Qatar, reinforcing its role as Indonesia’s Official Tri-Service Defence Exhibition. This engagement provided valuable insights into current industry trends and solidified Indo Defence’s position as a key player in connecting global defence industry stakeholders with Indonesia’s defence ecosystem.
The 11th edition of Indo Defence, scheduled for 18–21 November 2026 in Jakarta, will feature a comprehensive exhibition and forum program. This includes expert-level seminars, industry forums, and technical presentations addressing contemporary defence priorities. The event will also showcase product exhibitions and demonstrations of deployed defence technologies, fostering engagement among defence manufacturers, system integrators, government institutions, armed forces, and security stakeholders.
To support industry readiness and innovation, Indo Defence 2026 will introduce two dedicated strategic program areas: The Innovation Zone and the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Zone. The Innovation Zone will serve as an accelerator for commercializing national defence research (BATEKHAN), fostering industry collaboration, and supporting defence technology start-ups. Meanwhile, the MRO Zone aims to showcase national MRO capabilities (Baharwat), attract global investment and technical partnerships, and solidify Indonesia’s position as a regional defence maintenance hub.
Indo Defence plays a vital role in bridging global innovation with regional operational needs, supporting capability development, industrial collaboration, and long-term defence resilience. By engaging with global defence platforms and aligning with market developments, Indo Defence 2026 ensures that its exhibition content, featured technologies, and strategic focus remain relevant to current and future defence requirements.
Initiated in 2004 and hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, Indo Defence has evolved into one of the world’s largest and most influential defence exhibitions. The 2025 edition marked a significant milestone, featuring a total gross exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, uniting 1,183 participants and a record-setting 32 country pavilions. A total of 67 countries showcased their defence capabilities and sent official delegations, attracting 45,691 visitors over four action-packed days.
As the defence industry continues to evolve, Indo Defence 2026 Expo & Forum, incorporating Indo Aerospace and Indo Marine 2026 Expo & Forum, will take place on 18–21 November 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event will serve as a crucial platform for global defence industry players to explore opportunities, discuss participation, and forge potential collaborations.
“We are excited to continue our engagement with the global defence community,” said a spokesperson for Indo Defence. “Our participation in the Qatar exhibition underscores our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and ensuring that Indo Defence 2026 remains a premier event for defence innovation and collaboration.”
For those interested in participating or exploring collaboration opportunities, Indo Defence invites stakeholders to contact their team to arrange meetings and discuss potential engagements. This proactive approach ensures that Indo Defence 2026 will once again be a landmark event in the global defence calendar.
