Airfloa Rail Technology Ltd has taken a significant step into the defence sector by signing a joint venture agreement with Big Bang Boom Solutions Private Limited (BBBS). This strategic partnership aims to establish an exclusive platform for manufacturing advanced defence technologies in India, marking a pivotal moment in both companies’ growth trajectories.
Under the agreement, Airfloa will hold a 51% stake in the joint venture, while BBBS will retain a 49% share. The collaboration is designed to scale electronic warfare systems, autonomous platforms, and advanced material products, positioning both companies at the forefront of India’s defence innovation landscape.
The joint venture will focus on manufacturing systems currently under development at BBBS, while also supporting future defence programmes. The scope of their work will encompass a wide array of cutting-edge technologies, including directed energy weapons, AI-based autonomous systems, high-precision components, advanced materials and nanotechnology products, and defence-grade integration and testing.
This move underscores Airfloa’s commitment to diversifying into the defence sector, capitalising on opportunities in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), electronic warfare, and advanced materials. The company anticipates that this partnership will enhance its growth prospects and broaden its market reach.
