The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the opening of nominations for its prestigious National Awards for the years 2024 and 2025, recognising exceptional contributions in the fields of defence and technology. The awards, which include the Dr Kothari Defence Science Award and the Dr Kalam Defence Technology Award, each carry a citation and a cash prize of Rs 10 Lakhs. One award will be presented for each category in both 2024 and 2025. Eligible nominees include individuals serving in government, public, or private sectors who have demonstrated outstanding contributions in their respective fields. The consent of the nominee, reflected through their signature on the nomination and personal information forms, is mandatory.
