These systems include satellite positioning, monitoring and navigation tools, process automation, underwater communication, and handling equipment. Beyond defence and maritime, Kongsberg is also making strides in sustainable marine resource management and climate change monitoring, contributing 7.4% to its net sales. These solutions support offshore operations, fisheries, marine research, maritime operations, and ocean-based energy production. This diversification underscores Kongsberg’s role in addressing both industrial and environmental challenges.

Geographically, Kongsberg’s influence is global, with sales distributed across Norway (18.2%), Europe (31%), North America (23.5%), Asia (20.5%), Australia (4.1%), South America (1.5%), and Africa (1.2%). This broad reach highlights the company’s ability to adapt to regional demands and foster international partnerships.
