AXISCADES Secures ₹7.99 Crore Army Counter Drone Order

AXISCADES Technologies Limited has secured a ₹7.99 crore order from the Indian Army for the supply of 12 Man Portable Counter Drone Systems (MPCDS), a significant milestone in the company’s defence technology portfolio. The order, awarded under emergency procurement following Operation Sindhoor, underscores the Indian Army’s growing reliance on indigenous defence solutions.

The MPCDS, developed by AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies—a fully owned subsidiary of AXISCADES—is designed to detect drones from up to 5 km away and disrupt their signals across multiple frequency bands. Despite their advanced capabilities, the systems are lightweight and field-operable, making them ideal for frontline deployment. The order, valued at ₹7.99 crore, is expected to be completed within 12 months.

This contract marks a pivotal moment for AXISCADES, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s defence technology sector. The company’s expertise in aerospace and defence engineering, combined with its ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions, has positioned it as a trusted partner for the Indian military. The order also aligns with India’s broader strategic goal of achieving self-reliance in defence manufacturing, a priority under the government’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.

“This win highlights the Indian Army’s trust in AXISCADES and supports the goal of building strong, self-reliant defence technology in India,” said a company spokesperson. The success of this project could pave the way for further defence contracts, particularly as the Indian military continues to modernise its capabilities in response to evolving threats.
