Olee.space, a photonics and defence technology innovator, has appointed Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Rajiva Ranjan VM (Retd) as its Strategic Defence Advisor. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to advancing India’s defence and aerospace capabilities through cutting-edge technology.
AVM Ranjan, who retired after a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the Indian Air Force, brings a wealth of expertise in fighter operations, defence technology, and integrated warfare. His role at olee.space will focus on developing next-generation systems tailored to India’s long-term defence vision, particularly in optics and space-based defence systems.

AVM Ranjan’s career is marked by significant achievements. Commissioned into the Fighter Stream of the Indian Air Force in 1987, he is a Fighter Combat Leader and a Qualified Flying Instructor. He has accrued nearly 3,850 hours of accident-free flying across 15 fighter and trainer aircraft. His educational background includes the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and the National Defence College, New Delhi.
