GA-ASI Opens Registration for BMNL 2025 Defence Innovation Event

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has opened registration for its second Blue Magic Netherlands (BMNL) event, set to take place on November 18, 2025, at the MELT at Avular building in Eindhoven. This event, hosted in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Defence and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, aims to foster innovation and collaboration within the Dutch industrial ecosystem, particularly in defence and aerospace technologies.

Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 event, BMNL 2025 will bring together leaders from advanced technology, aerospace, business, and government to explore emerging solutions to pressing defence and security challenges. The event is open to Dutch technology and aerospace companies of all sizes, inviting them to pitch transformative next-generation solutions. Focus areas for this year include Intelligent Systems, Smart Materials, Sensors, Space, and Counter-UAS.

“BMNL 2025 is a pivotal opportunity for Dutch innovators to showcase their capabilities and connect with industry leaders and funding sources,” said Brad Lunn, Managing Director for GA-ASI. “We’re looking to build on the strong relationships established at the first event and continue driving technological advancements in the defence sector.”

Companies interested in presenting their capabilities must submit a pitch proposal in PDF format by October 10, 2025. Selected presenters will be notified on November 3, 2025. The event will feature technology pitches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, allowing participants to explore potential collaborations and investments.

In addition to the main event, GA-ASI will host several virtual workshops covering topics relevant to defence technology start-ups. These workshops will be available to the entire Dutch innovation ecosystem and will be listed on the event website.

GA-ASI’s collaboration with partners such as Brainport Development Eindhoven, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Brabant Development Agency, and the Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security (NIDV) underscores the event’s significance in fostering technological innovation and industrial growth in the Netherlands.

“BMNL 2025 is more than just an event; it’s a platform for driving forward the next generation of defence technologies,” said a spokesperson from the Dutch Ministry of Defence. “We encourage all Dutch innovators to participate and contribute to shaping the future of our defence capabilities.”

The event is open to both in-person and virtual attendance. Companies and individuals interested in registering or submitting a pitch proposal can visit the event website at www.ga-asi.com/blue-magic-netherlands-2025.

As the defence sector continues to evolve, events like BMNL 2025 play a crucial role in bridging the gap between innovation and implementation. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, GA-ASI and its partners are not only fostering technological advancements but also strengthening the broader defence and security ecosystem in the Netherlands and beyond.
